Drinking water can be difficult, some find the taste bland or unpleasant, while others it’s just out of habit that they will reach for another drink such as tea, coffee, juice or even a fizzy drink.
I suffer with terrible headaches if I don’t drink enough, yet at times I find plain water just too boring. So I said I’d add some fruit to liven things up, over time I did some research and found a few combinations to be very tasty and helpful to the body.
Combination 1: Cucumber, Strawberry and Kiwi. The cucumber is so refreshing while the strawberry and kiwi add that bit of sweetness. It’s also brilliant for supporting digestion and healthy blood pressure.
Combination 2: Cucumber, Lemon and Lime. Again the cucumber is very refreshing, well the lemon and lime add that beautiful citrus flavour. It’s brilliant for assisting digestion, controlling appetite and for hydration.
Combination 3: Lemon, Lime and Orange.
All the citrus flavours add great sweetness to the water, also being refreshing and great for quenching a thirst. Its acts as a great immune defense and assisting digestion and helping with heartburn.
Combination 4: Green tea, Mint and Lime.
For me the mint and lime help with the taste of the water, for me green tea can be too strong. This water is great in adding digestion, helping with headaches as well as acting as a fat burner.
Other combinations can include:
• Lemon, Mint and Cucumber.
• Orange and Blueberries.
• Strawberry, Lemon and Basil.
• Watermelon, Kiwi and Strawberry.
• Raspberry and Lemon.
