Yet again, it’s Urban Decay, the obsession continues. This times it’s the stunning ‘Vice 4’ that I’m going to chat about. This Limited Edition Palette has 20 never been seen shades, encased in a stunning case with a huge mirror, a double ended brush and amazing coordinating bag.
The case as though inspired by an oil spillage has a stunning dimensional metallic hue, while inside the palette there is a range of colours, in a wide range of finishes – Mattes, Metallics to shaded almost pure glitter. As normal each shade is blendable, with a rich and velvety feel from the amazing ‘Pigment Infusion System’ Urban Decay is known for. The outer casing of the palette gives a glimpse of the colours that are inside, a metallic finish on both the dimensional web and writing of ‘Vice.’ The coordinating bag can be used to store brushes or other makeup while travelling or protect the palette. The double ended brush is ideal for creating any signature look having both a shadow and crease brush, while the large mirror enclosed in the case makes creating this looks easy.
The shades include: (Left to Right, Top to Bottom)
Bones, Grip, Deadbeat, Beat Down, Pandemonium, Framed, Fast Ball, 1985, Underhand, Harlot, Discreet, Grasshopper, C-Note, Arctic, Robbery, Bitter, Flame, Low, Crowbar and Delete.
My Favourite shades to date include: Deadbeat, Underhand, Grasshopper and Bitter.
The Palette was priced at roughly €49/£43/$60. I purchase from Debenhams but it no longer stocked in store or online as it was Limited Edition and sold out fast. My pros include – Yup as always the brush is very handy & having the huge mirror is such a bonus. Having 20 shades makes it so handy to bring with you as there is such a wide range of colours to choose from. Each shade is highly pigmented. Cons include – again as usual I struggled to find any, but if I’m being very picky to find something it would be the outer casing – I’m afraid I’m going to break it, so I’m extra cautious when travelling with it.
In my opinion this Palette is ideal for any person looking for a multi functional palette, having such a wide range of colours it makes endless looks possible.
