I’m so excited I can’t even contain myself, this release is something out of makeup dreams, & being the Urban Decay Junkie that I am – I want them all, no sorry I NEED them all. Okay well not all of then, but most.. You can see how excited I am, I’m just rambling now!!
The Lipstick Vice contains the massive line-up of 100 shades, in 6 stunning & indulgent finishes.
- COMFORT MATTE: creamy matte
- CREAM: the original creamy luxury
- MEGA MATTE: intense matte
- METALLIZED: high level pearl cream
- SHEER: sheer & shiny finish
- SHEER SHIMMER: slightly transparent, floating pearl & a smooth texture
The range has it all – dark shades, versatile neutrals & bold brights. It includes some old favourites, as well as brand new shades. The Vice is a modernized version of their original lipsticks, with packaging that is superior. A faceted gunmetal case – gold base and debossed lettering, each lipstick features an embossed “UD.” They even added a shade-matched label (having the shade name & finish) making it easy to find the right colour, even when rumeging through your handbag. Each lipstick contains Urban Decays ‘Pigment Infusion System’ giving a super-creamy texture, the highest colour dispersion & rich payout. With just one swipe you get a huge lay down of colour, applicant is smooth leaving your lips feeling & looking amazing!
They have also released all 50 shades of ’24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencils’, matching up with all the lipsticks. Again these are available online & in store from Debenhams, online from Urban Decay in the UK & US. They are €17/£13.50/$20 for 1.2g. Again I feel they are well worth the money as they match so well with each lipstick.
Sephora have also excitingly released 20 exclusive shades, including the stunning green shade ‘Junkie’, vibrant purple ‘Speedball’, soft mauve ‘TMI’ & beautiful grey taupe ‘Oblivion’.
In other exciting Urban Decay news, they have released a ‘Vice Lipstick’ app, available on Apple devices. It allows you to take a picture (of several) & experiment with each lipstick shade. Thus allowing you to see what the lipstick would look like on you. Its genius & I love it!
So I know its been kind of a long post, but I had to share my excitement. I’m trying to decide on a few purchases so if any of you have purchased or used any of the lipsticks or pencils I’d love to hear from you – what shade you have, how amazing it is, etc. So please leave a comment!
As always, Thanks for reading! Until next time!
