Too Faced, ‘Chocolate Bar’ Palette

I decided to review the Too Faced ‘Chocolate Bar’ palette today, I’ve had it a while & I’m really enjoying it.

The palette starts with packaging that looks like a rich dark chocolate bar, with pink and
gold writing, it being a metal tin the magnet clasp is strong and very unlikely to open unless force is applied. Once you open the palette the smell of sweet chocolate envelops you. A medium mirror fills the inside of the lid, surrounding by writing. While 16 shades are arranged in three rows, two shades have large pans (White Chocolate and Champagne Truffle, ideal base shades), it’s an array of natural browns, subtle pinks and a stunning luscious purple. The finishes include both Matte and Shimmer. Each shade is highly pigmented, made of pure cocoa powder. The palette came with their ‘How–To Glamour Guide’ showing three looks that can be created.

The shades include: (Left to Right, Top to Bottom) –  Glided Ganache, White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Black Forest Truffle, Triple Fudge, Salted Caramel,  Marzipan, Semi-Sweet, Strawberry Bon Bon, Candied Violet, Amaretto, Hazelnut, Creme Brulee, Haute Chocolate, Cherry Cordial, Champagne Truffle.

My favourites include: Black Forest Truffle, Amaretto and Cherry Cordial.

This Palette is priced at roughly €49/£39/$49. I purchase from my local Debenhams, it can be purchased online also (the site allows for change of currency also which is handy!) My pros include – the aroma, it smells exactly like a chocolate bar! This palette allows you to create many neutral brown looks with a little splash of colour with a subtle pink, purple or burgundy. Cons include – I’ve really struggled to find any, but if I’m being mega picky it would be nice to have a brush included.

In my opinion this Palette is ideal for any person who enjoys creating neutral looks but wants a quality palette. Plus the luxury packaging and chocolate aroma makes everyone want this palette.

I’d be delighted to hear from you, so please feel free to comment. I’d love to know what you think of this palette.

As always, Thanks for reading! Until next time!
